Community event to spread awareness of the upcoming Onion Creek Memorial Garden. We will be spreading mushroom blocks, sunflower seed and mulch to enrich the soil for future planting. Story time at noon hosted by Austin Public Library's Southeast Community Branch for the kids to enjoy. Neighborhood walk in the adjacent area to enjoy the Echo's Way of the Water Guided tour at 1 pm. Attendees are also encouraged to enjoy the Wrong Turn Bike Race that will be happening at Onion Creek Metro Park @ Yarabee Bend that same day.
