The items listed below are based on estimated costs today.

Some items we are seeking donations from specific suppliers, but anyone and everyone is welcome to donate toward a specific item if they'd prefer.

All donors can receive a charitable donation receipt for tax purposes.

Amenities:

The benches and tables can be sponsored as a memorial to someone if you'd like to honor someone with your donation. Small plaques will be attached to the sponsored items. Type & style to be determined and many of these items will be the last things we purchase.

5 - 6 Benches Estimated cost is $900.00 each, $5,400 total

2 - 3 Tables Estimated cost is $1,500.00 each, $4,500 total

Fencing, approximately 1,050 feet. Type and style to be determined.

Signage:

Big sign for entrance Estimated cost is $2,000.

Tree markers Estimated cost is $600-750

Entry archway

Price for all of the above is to be determined.

Specialize items:

Plumbing & irrigation materials. Estimated cost is $3,500.00

Equipment rentals: Estimated cost is $750.00

We specifically need a small trencher, if anyone has one to loan or would like to help us trench the irrigation and water lines.

Plant related stuff:

Good soil, lots of good soil (City of Austin to provide)

Misc. plants--approximately $5,200 worth of edible plants. See the Tree & Plants tab for specifics.

Deer netting--amount and cost to be determined.

Chicken wire--amount and cost to be determined

Tools needed:

1 - Tool shed trailer. AWP has requested that any tool sheds be movable, so a trailer is our best option. We have volunteers committed to moving them to high ground in the event of flooding rains.

1 - Wheel barrow (these could be just loans, we'll only need them for workdays so they don't have to stay onsite)

2 - 4 sets of clippers (for trees and plants)

4 - Shovels

2 - 4 Rakes

2 - 4 Hand trowels

1 - Riding lawn mower (or someone to commit to mowing grass for us)

Food:

When we start having workdays, we will need food and water for our volunteers.

If you or your group would like to sponsor a workday's food, please let us know.

Misc.:

Which brings us to our last item....we will probably need to have a port-a-potty for workdays, as the nearest available restrooms are a distance away. We understand that this is an unusual type of thing to need, but we're just trying to plan for everything. Let us know if you will sponsor a port-a-potty or know of anyone who might provide them for a discounted price.
